I think it is silly. I think that each should be on the individual. I do agree that there are homes that I wouldn't place a puppy/dog in because of the small children. I just had two families take two of Zoe's puppies both had small children and I personally don't think I could have made a better match!

I have my own small dogs, one is about to be neutered. The other two are not because they breed. Zeus can't be fixed due to being a police dog. I could be the perfect parent to a rescue but because I have a 7 year old and dogs that aren't fixed..... its unfortunate.
