OK, Trevor and I had a long talk about grooming. I got so many good tips, suggestions, ideas from Yorkie Talk, and we decided we had to give it a try. The first thing was to brush him and get the tangles/mats out. It hurt, so I used the idea about corn starch. I sprinkled some on him, on the mats, and I guess he must have got some on his nose.....so he shook his head and sneezed, corn starch went flying......then he sneezed again.....more corn starch. By this time I was a little panicked and thought I have to get this off of him. I figured that if I bathed him, the corn starch would turn to paste. So I took him outside with the blow dryer. It was set on low, but scared him to death. I think I'm gonna have to give up and take him to a groomer or wait awhile before we try this again. He's exhausted (so am I)
