One great thing about BG is that they have 1lb sample bags you could try out. I tried it before Evo but Snick had loose stools and also refused it after awhile. Yes, you can easily rotate flavors as BG's main ingredient is chicken in all it's flavors. I did the same type of research as you are doing before switching. Good luck, hope he likes it.

I noticed this today at the pet store so I went ahead and bought a small bag of the chicken flavor as well as the buffalo. I put the buffalo flavored one in front of him earlier with a bit of wet food mixed in and usually if he doesn't like the kibble, he will only eat the wet food and spit out any kibble he happened to get in there lol, but this time he was eating the kibble as well. So hopefully that's a good sign!! I'm liking Before Grain so far! He hasn't even tried the chicken one yet.
