Personally, I like taking this kind of thing to the public laundromat to make use of their industrial strength washer/dryers as opposed to using the ones I use at home for the people stuff. I have experienced skin irritations to what I thought should have been a good cleaning coming from things I've washed after washing something else in a different cycle. I suppose if you always use bleach, it would clean out your washer for you for the next round. I've also noticed that some laundromats have machines that don't work as well as others.

I only do this once every so many months for very specific things. LOL.
