I feel your pain about getting into things! Wrigley's favorite is receipts. He grab those up like they are going outta style. He clamps his jaws down on those suckers too.
When he finds one that we have accidentally dropped (or set too close to the edge of a table or something) we just turn him on his back... and grab his toothbrush
He opens his mouth so fast-- it is funny
He hates his teeth being brushed (though thankfully he at least lets us do it now without too much of a fight)
Just try to keep things out of reach. It is easy to forget that anything within their reach is fair game to them.
