My vet is the same way, All exams and regular vaxes are done in front of me but she always takes them in the back room and does their blood work. Ive had the same vet for several years and I trust her 100 percent. Most of them time my vet tech (who ive been friends with for years) takes my animals to work with her and she calls me after the vet has looked at them.
