I was kind of wondering the same thing! My Sophie is 6 mths old and has been losing teeth like crazy the last month or so. She got spayed last Tuesday and I did the same thing. Had them remove the remaining baby teeth. They took 4 out of her. However, I only retreived about 4 or 5 teeth and I know she lost more that that. I just figured she swallowed them. Good luck with the spay! The worst part is not being able to bathe them for 2 weeks. Between the stinky breath from "wet/soft food only" and the stinky skin from no bathing, they get to be quite fragrant after the first few days! Ah well, somehow us Yorkie lovers still snuggle anyway. I just hold my breath! LOL
