there is no way that an attempted blood draw and vaccines should take 45 minutes. It should take 5-10 minutes maximum. Most bites can be avoided if the dog is restrained properly. If he was getting aggressive, they could've used a muzzle. Ellie wiggles like crazy at the vet's office and it still takes less than 5 minutes to draw blood.

I just wouldn't expect most of the vet's that Ellie has been to to report that.

I agree. My maltese was a nipper and they always muzzled him.
