I ran into that situation, too...many times. I googled Cameroon, and the whole scam was explained. So, the next time I responded to an ad in the paper and it was a scam, I played along...telling them the dog would have to be quarantined before entering the US, that I would come get the dog, etc., they had an answer for everything, although their English leaves a lot to be desired. Finally, I just gave them the one fingered salute and never heard back from them, lol.
