the only thing that has worked (most of the time) is just a stern "LEAVE IT" whenever she starts to get near other poop. Now I let her get near it and most of the time she leaves it alone. Still after 2 years she sometimes still tries to eat it when we walk her--and now she eats the goose poop. We live near water and the geese are coming back after the winter.
It is awful--I bring her home and brush her teeth and clean out her mouth!!!
If you come up with a sure solution let me know. It has gotten better but still not totally gone.
Some said she was not getting enough nutrients in her food, but she eats holistic healthy food and gets plenty of nourishment so it can't be that--just a bad habit! |
