We took Cookie to get her groomed, she looked so cute with her little ponytail. I noticed she had been scratching at it and i thought it was b/c she wanted it out. I left it in from saturday to yesterday, it wasnt tight at all. I went to take it out yesterday and noticed she had a scab. Could it have been too tight and caused a sore on her scalp? what should i do? Take her back to the groomers so they can look at it, put vaseline on it and it will soften and eventually fall off, or does this require a trip to the vet? She is getting spayed next friday and i dont want anything to get in the way of that! Although im soooo nervous about this whole spaying thing!

Top knots need to be removed every night. Do not pull them out...cut them
