Thank you guys for your concern. So we went to the vet at petsmart and they said that it indeed came from the topknot(ponytail) They had to end up shaving that spot and gave us some topical ointment. It is a little small spot and i didnt mind having it shaved, she just looks funny and now she has a comb over =). Petsmart was very, very sorry and covered the charges and the follow up visit in two weeks. The girl that groomed her, is so nice and i know she didnt do it purposely. I will continue to take her there, b/c she is so patient and gentle with my baby (she tries to bite her every time she is there)
!!! i do hope that her hair grows back b/c i think she looks so cute with her ponytail. I tried to get a picture, but she is just too darn frisky!
