Today he was crying so we let him out and took him to the ugodog and he just layed on it, we left him for 5 minutes then put him back in his kennel. He started crying again and we took him to the ugodog again and he just layed on it again. So we put him back in the kennel and he poops in it and the kennel is so small so he lays in it and cries, to make it worse he's being treated for diarrhea and this is about the 3rd time this week we've had to bath him. How do we teach him to hold it and to go on the ugodog when we take him there? We've tried training sprays, tissues with his urine under the grate, nothing is working. We've been working on it since Dec and trying to get over his submiussive urination |
If he has diarrhea nothing will work, you might want to figure out what causing that. How much time is he spending in the crate? Some dogs are easy to get on a schedule because they poop within 5 minutes after they eat. You might try feeding and taking him for a walk, as this can stimulate the bowls. Remember no harsh punishment even yelling can backfire, and cause such things as submissive urination. Sounds like you need a better schedule. This website has some handy tips.
