That makes sense. I'm in MD and we don't really have those issues. But Jackson is also a bit bigger so I don't worry AS much (although, still a worry wart at times!) He's 10 pounds nearly at 5 months. I just feel like (and opinions may differ) he's still a dog, ya know. I want to let him run around outside like a normal dog. And I don't see anything wrong w/ pee pad trained. It can actually be convenient if you can't be home at a certain time so he can just go. But I find them to be more of a pain. I hate having poop/pee in the house in any way, shape or form. lol. And he hasn't had an accident in a week now.
