I remember when I was following
puppymillrescue Home Page they had lawyers on their forum fighting this very thing. They had transports set up all over the U.S. to transport the rescued auction dogs once they were bought and were placed into foster homes. However, if my memory serves me right, they were after the total rejects and never purchased puppies unless they were being discarded.
For those out there wanting a Biewer so bad, have you ever made contact with good breeders in the states who remove some of their breeders from their programs? Or for that matter, even a Yorkshire Terrier breeder? They are always looking for good homes for their retired breeders or puppies they can't sell and want to get into a good pet home.
