Joey's been using it for a couple of years, and has been thriving on it. He doesn't have the problem that a lot of dogs have had with other foods, and never has problems with gas, vomiting diarrhea, soft poop, eating poop, and his breath is great, and his hair is shinny too. However, it does contain corn, and some dogs are allergic to corn, so if your dog experiences itching, more than the occasional scratch the corn might be the culprit. RC is not rated as high as most of the recommended foods, on the different food sites, and we did try Blue Wilderness because of it's high rating, and no corn. Joey liked it, but a couple of days after I started it he had extreme eye watering with brown gunk coming from his eyes, I continued the new food, and the eye problem got worse. His eyes were loaded with stuff each morning, and this has never happened before. So I stopped the new food. His eyes got better within a few days, but continued to water, and it's just been the last two days they are finally dry again. Part of me wants to test the food again, and see if the eye problem returns, but I'm afraid, I'll start up an allergy or something that I can never get rid of. So we are back on the RC, and loving it.
