Ok that's the problem, I just tested it and this is the message I got.

Are you writing your message in a word processor, and coping and pasting the message onto the blog? I do this often to check my spelling and you can't use "enhanced interface editing," if you do this. The pastes will not work on profile pages or blogs because they don't accept BB code, only the regular forum, allows a paste from a word processing program. Just change your editing mode to "standard" and it will work.
