I'm wonder if it has anything to do with the message editor your using. I have a problem posting on some profile pages when using the enhanced version of the editor.
To learn which editing method you use, click on "User CP" next click on "Edit Options", at the bottom of the page, you will see the words, " Message Editor Interface", it gives you three options, "Basic", "Standard", and "Enhanced Interface Full WYSIWYG editing." Which one is your set to? If it's set for "Enhanced", you might want to change it to standard, and see if you can post on the blog.
