When my puppy is older I plan to do timed feedings for her. For now the breeder said she needs food out all the time.

My cat, though, is used to her dry food being out all day. I'm not sure how to switch her to timed feedings. She's so little already, I don't want to starve her. But I suppose that might be the only way to work it. Is there any danger in my cat eating puppy food?

I think putting the cat food up is probably the easiest way. I guess I just need to be on the ball and make sure my cat figured out how to get to it.
