so we took ari to the vet and they checked for demidex (sp?) and it came back negative. the vet said he had no obvious signs of any infection or allergies so he gave us this antibiotic/steroid spray to put on his paws and ears. he seemed to be doing really well and not scratching as much. and then yest we came home to find that he had bit his paws again and bled everywhere. i dont know what to do. we have decided to try to continue using the spray and putting his booties back on and do this for two weeks hoping that everything will heal. if after those two weeks he is still biting and bleeding, we r going to take him back to the vet. thanks for your concern everyone and if you come up with anything else please let me know. |
