Phyllis - I am SO thankful to have read your thread about having your Chilly on the leash. I am SOOO sorry for that tragedy you faced, and cannot imagine having that happen. I just want to let you know that by sharing your story, you absolutely just saved my little one from being taken from me, and probably many others. I am so sorry that happened to you, and I teared up when reading it. My pet bird (when I was 11) was taken off by a hawk right in front of my eyes, and I was devastated! I couldn't imagine it happening to my Lola! Thank you!!
I have always been terrified of those crazy critters out there, and was beginning to think I was overreacting. After reading all your stories, I have realized I wasn't being overly cautious for nothing! I had done research on the topic earlier, but nothing compared to this thread!! I am SO thankful to be a part of this community, and learn new stuff everyday about the safety and happiness of my little one. Thanks guys!!! |
