I received a reply email from the lady that runs the rescue group and she wants me to call her tonight to discuss the sitation. She said that we "will address the issue, but that she doesn't do neuters in Canada due to the cost", which means she'll want to take him to the states for it. Trooper had his liver shunt surgery at Oakland over there, so I don't know if she'd want to take him there or not. I have no problem with that as long as I can be there while with him... I don't want her to take him by herself - he's my baby and I've bonded with him too much for me to not be there... But on the other hand if they want to keep him overnight I might not be able to stay. I don't know yet. I'll call her tonight and get more details and keep everyone posted. |
