Well, back from the vets now and all is well! Albeit I got a different person, but she was okay!
Puppies are all good - mom is a bit fevered, she had a temp of 40.2
I have a prescription of Clavamox for her.
Milk is good - check
Belly is good - check check
Pups were not weighed though? - Saturday 'no frills' vet visit I guess???
I'll do it myself I guess!
I even had to ask them to please check Tink over... grrrrrr!
They also told me as long as she is eating well, there is no need for extra's.
They told me no on the vanilla ice cream and the yogurts and cottage cheese, etc, etc... but I thin I might still give her a bit of Nutri - cal... and some cheese to treat her... she deserves it!
I did have to hand feed her today once, because she does not like to leave her babies at all. She scoots into the bathroom a few times a day to use her puppy pad and is right back in the box with em! She's really a mother hen!
Her weight is great too - She is 6 pounds 4 ounces... good for a new momma!
I love her so much I was so scared last night when she was panting uncontrollably... we go again on Monday to follow up and make sure her fever is down, but all in all I am wayyyyy more relaxed today!
NOW ~ I hope I can carry that feeling through ~ I could be back on-line posting with some other drama or worry!!!
I still can't BELIEVE the babies are here! It all happened sooooo fast!
