I'm no help. I have 4 inside dogs, they have their food down from the time I get up in the morning until around 6:00 p.m when I pull it up for the night. They all eat out of the same food bowl and it works out great for me. They just grab kibble whenever they want it. I have them all on TOTW which is for all life stages
