Baxter is four months old, five months on March 14. I usually feed him in the morning around 10:30, again around 12ish, and again around 5ish. I was just wondering if this was too much or too little for a puppy? My vet recommended that I 'free feed' him, giving him food whenever his bowl is empty. That is basically what I do now, because Baxter eats his food in little bits throughout the hour. But what I was really wondering was when I needed to stop feeding him three times a day and only two? What age is he considered old enough?
