I wouldn't let them weld my rings because I don't wear my diamond down to the barn anymore. I was mucking stalls once many years ago looked down at my ring and the center emerald diamond was dangling - held in place by only one prong - the other three had broken off. Because of that I am paranoid about losing it. |
I've had to go to the jeweler and have mine cut off a few times, most of the times it's because I've gained, lost, gained, lost etc etc (weight). Well, about 4 years ago, I was laying in bed, the ring was catching on the sheets, which is not normal. I looked the next morning, and the diamond was gone. I was working at a school cafeteria at the time, never did find the diamond here or at school. I was devastated. Steve went out that year and bought me a new diamond for it for Christmas. Told him not too as I'm not a diamond person, but, he did out of the goodness of his heart. I do need to get it in again, as one of the prongs is messed up right now, and I sure don't want to lose another diamond
