so far Lefty's been to the vet 4 times for shots and checkups and stuff and he's good. his vet loves him, between patients she comes out to play with him (*she has two yorkies at home*)
when he gets on the table in the examining room and she begins giving him a lookover he gives her lil kisses and plays with her, BUT once he sees the vets assistant, he starts growling and barking at the assistant!!!
i really don't understand why he won't let her even touch him. at the last visit the vet asked her to leave the room and just let me hold Lefty when he was gettin his shots, because she was making him CRAZY!!! i really felt bad.
Lefty's been around my family, friends, even other animals and he's FINE with them, he's never showed any kind of pushy little attitude or aggression. the vets assistant is just the ONE person that he doesn't like.
has anyone else ever experienced this?
