i just talked to my vet yesterday about the 1 year boosters for my two oldest...i was waiting for 1 year "anniversary" from their final (3rd) puppy shot and not the 1 yr old mark or 1 year from their first puppy shot mark and he said this was correct (whew! lol)
we talked extensively and mine will just get DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvo and parainfluenza) and rabies 2-3 weeks after the booster...he is trying to talk me into bordatella but i keep refusing and will continue to refuse
... all in all he is a great vet (he said absolutely NO to lyme, corona, lepto, giardia, etc for my kids) and we mostly agree - just not on the bordatella
i am really glad i talked to him because i did not realize parvo was so prevalent in my area
