I hadn't thought of the teeth, I looked at his gums and they look fine, he is also eating well. I checked his ears and nothing stands out, no redness, odor etc. It doesn't seem to be a sound of pleasure but not real pain either. just whining. We have had him a month and we are still getting to know his vocal cues (he is a lot more vocal than our first one). I will take him to the vet and see what is going on. It seems something is bothering him but I just don't know what it might be. thanks for the advice
