As for you 6 month old...I don't think that you could even register a litter he would produce given his age.  (Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.) Give him time to mature and have him evaluated and tested first.

Male has to be 7 months old at the time of mating per AKC website in order to register..think its 8 months for female at the time of mating as well.
I hope this isnt a repeat...I didnt read this entire thread.
