Both of mine did horribly after their 1st shots. They would YELP in pain if you picked them up..lasted for a couple days! Before the rest of their shots my vet would give a tiny injection of Diphenhydramine 1st (no charge)(I think its the main Ingredient of Benadryl) and it worked wonders! Wouldnt even know they had shots! I think its pretty much the same as when our skin kids got their vaccinations we would always give tylenol 1st to help with the soreness.
