Good for you Gail, you only were protecting your pups and hers for that matter. If she is a real friend she will let all this go and understand it wasn't personal. Maybe you can offer to visit her home to see her pup, since she wants your input on him/her so bad.
Hopefully it all works out for the best! As someone who will be bringing one of your pups into my family and home, I appreciate your decision a lot.
