Buddy just got his distemper on Friday...and he didn't yelp during the shot, but an hour later, when I tried to pick him up, he yelped and when he tried to walk, there was a little bit of a limp. He slept it off the rest of the day...and by the next day, he was fine and back to his normal hyper self. The vet said that he would be a little sore, and that the area where the injection was given may be a little swollen (just like when a human gets a vaccination). |
