Oh I believe they matter a great deal--that's the point I was trying to make overall. I just think it's a shame that to some breeders, the physical traits that actually
define the Yorkie don't matter. I think that health is of upmost importance too...I don't believe that anyone claimed otherwise. But IMO, it shouldn't be one or the other--you shouldn't overlook the health because a dog adheres to the standard perfectly, likewise you shouldn't breed a poor physical representation of the breed because it is free of health defects. It's a package deal--you should breed for BOTH, which is one thing that makes breeding a tricky venture.
