All puppies are born at 63 days whether it is 63 days from the date of their first tie or not. She may have very well dropped her eggs a few days prior to her first tie with the male and so she may delivery earlier than you expect. The eggs actually go about 3 days prior to being fertilized until they are ripened and then are fertilized by the sperm. So to answer your question yes it is very possible for the puppies to live if they are "born early". Because it may in fact not be early at all.
