Here I go...
The breeder was feeding my puppy Science Diet mixed with a little Pedigree Little champions chicken wet food. I bought some Science Diet and starting mixing it with Eukanuba because I thought it would be better than that nasty Science Diet. I finally just had him eating Eukanuba.
He loved Eukanuba, but I starting mixing that with Nutro small breed puppy after two weeks because I read on here and other places that all the wheat/corn products are bad for the dogs and Nutro didn't have any. Stewie despises Nutro. He turns his nose up at it and will pick around it. I think that he would honestly rather starve than eat it.
So... yesterday I bought another bag of Eukanuba small breed and gave him both Nutro & Eukanuba mixed together. I feel badly about mixing them and changing again, but I want him to
want to eat. He scarfed it down, picking out the Eukanuba kibble and leaving the Nutro rings behind.
Sorry this is so long, but I don't know what the hell else to do... what other foods out there are not astronomical in price (poor college student here!)? Or should I just keep with the Eukanuba? I am looking around online, but haven't found any good info. I trust you guys to help me out!
Forgot to mention that whenever he would eat the Nutro alone, his poop was very very runny and soft. He woudl go on his pee pad, but then walk around while squatting trying to get the rest out. I would have to follow him with a paper towel
