i know when you brush, Tyke had to be talked to the whole time i was brushing him. then i gave him treats because he didn't like it either. try this if the new brush doesn't make him calm down.
hope this might help. i also cut Tyke's hair, to keep cost down. i have a plus though.......I'm a hairstylist for people...lol so that helps alot. but it's not that hard to groom your own dog
you should try so it could save you some money.
