I was like Susan's Mom. Guys don't dress up their dogs, and I bucked my wife at every opportunity. Until I took Eddie to the park on a cooler fall morning and noticed him shivering. Now I'm often the one who insists on him wearing a sweater. A manly sweater, though.

Happy 1,000 to Carter'sMom! I always enjoy your posts -- but especially your pictures. You are the best.

Oh, and Eddie loves anything warm. My wife has a rice bag that she heats up for aches and pains, and Eddie jumps on her lap every time she uses it. Same thing with the heating pad.
