Suzi is aware that we are going to leave. She stands there and watches us get ready. Then she jumps on the couch and I give her lote of pets and tell her we are coming right back.
We live in an upstairs apartment, and as we go to the car Suzi runs to the other couch and looks out the window watching us go. It breaks my heart to see her in the window. Sometimes I even turn to her and wave, saying bye Suzi.
The other day i stood out on the balcony, and Suzi jumped on our kitchen chair, then saw me out the window. She barked her head off. Then I looked agin and she was on a different chair barking like a crazy girl. It was 6:30am. I was out watching my son leave for school.
Suzi has never barked at me until then!
