i think riley and madison know when we're going to leave. my bf and i give them treats and say bye when we leave and tell them to be good. they know when we're home because they hear the front door unlock then they wait by my bedroom door or by the gate i put up between the living room and the front hallway. if we're gone for more than 3 or 4 hours they start barking when we come in cus they know its us, other than that they only bark a little when they play. sometimes they'll bark if they hear the knocker on the front door and its quiet in the house.
