First of all welcome to Yorkie Talk. You will find lots of valuable information on here.

A 6 month old puppy is far to young to use for breeding. Most people recommend that the males be at least a year old even though some are capable of breeding a few months younger than 1 year.

Can you tell us about your female? How big is she? Breeding is a huge responsibility and I must say that breeding yorkies is not like breeding many of the other breeds. There are many risks involved. Has your female been checked out by a vet? Best of luck to you and I wish you the best.
