Our retriver was sprayed the day before we left for vacation and he was to ride in the car with us for hours. I called my vet and he gave me the magic cure. 1/2 cup of good smelling dog shampoo, 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxcide and 1/2 box of baking soda. it makes like a paste and you rub it all over the dog. let it sit for about 20 minutes and then wash off. be very careful around the eyes. it was like a miracle. the dog rode in the car and we never smelled anything on him. unfortunately i have had to do this a couple of times and it always works.
