I have had this problem more than once unfortunately. I had a German Short Hair who loved to play with the skunks. Poor stinky baby.
Yes tomato juice really works. However you have to do it a few times and then wash with shampoo a few more times. The smell will also linger in your home (unfortunately). Good Luck!.
