My yorkie has a terrible skin problem! She has very dry, itchy skin. She has had this problem for almost a year. Her skin has always been a little dry but now it is out of control. About a year ago, I woke up in the morning and bella had itched her neck so bad that she was bleeding with huge hot spots. And she was biting her whole back and clumps of hair were gone. I took her to the vet and they said she had dermatitis. So the vet gave me ivermectin to give to her. It didnt work. I took her to another vet and he said she had sobrreah dermatitis. He gave me medicated shampoo for her. That didnt work either. I have tried other medicated shampoos, oatmeal shampoos, changed her diet, but nothing is working. I give her a bath and within 10 minutes, she stinks and is itching. Her hair gets really oily and she has big scabs on her neck and back. I keep clothes on her all the time so she cant scratch her skin as bad. I dont know what to do anymore. Has this happenend to anyone or can anyone give me advice? Please help!
