Sorry to hear about this, I think I would be looking for a new vet. Joey's breeder recommended that Lepto never be given, and Joey's vet won't do the shots on any dog. I don't know of the long-term affects, if he's refusing food, I would be concerned with hypoglycemia. Keep calling the vet, and let him know how sick your dog is, maybe he'll learn this isn't a good idea. |
