A small amount of worry is good, but too much is no good for you or your puppy.

How is the girardia going?

Have you talked to your breeder about your concerns? Your breeder should be your first resource for help - the breeder knows your puppy better than anyone else. Reading too much stuff can get your gears turning in a bad way. It's good to be informed, but if you're like me, you start looking for signs of all kinds of rare problems. : )

She's still under 2 pounds. Since she's been with me she's actually lost an ounce. Which worried me to death, but she hasn't gained or lost since then. I'm very concerned about that, but I'm trying my best. The girardia is actually going pretty well. She takes a liquid medication once a day and she has been a bit more active and there hasn't been any blood in her stool since she's started on the medication. Which is good. The only thing I'm concerned about is her passing it on to my other animals. As soon as she's better though, I'm getting her the girardia vaccine.
