Pumpkin will not make your dog have a case of "flaming hoop". No way no how. It is given all the time for upset tummies in dogs and has a calming affect to their stomach. As for the pineapple as I have said before, you need to give it more than once for it to start to work its way through their digestive tract and to be effective. Deter pretty much does not work and that is when most people look for an alternative ie pineapple and pumpkin.
