I feed Merrick before grain Chicken flavor and we love it. It seems like Harley has put on a little weight since we have switched to before grain from the origional Merrick, but he also eats more of it, so it only makes sense that he would gain a little weight. We liked the Merrick puppy plate but I had a hard time being able to find it in the small bag on a consistant basis and I switched to the turducken. The switch to the turducken led to frequent upset tummy as well as an occasional soft stool. After the second bag of turducken I switched over to the Merrick before grain and we have had wonderful results with it.
