I am just constantly worried about her. Please share your experiences as a new small puppy parent with me. It will probably make me feel a lot better about all of this. |
I'm a relatively new yorkie owner myself...only had Buddy since January. He was a rehomed puppy...and at 5 months old I was terrified that he was going to get sick or hurt in some way. I too have found this site to be a "blessing and a nightmare"..as you have said. There is always someone on here that has been through similar experiences...and that's such a comfort to know that you aren't the only one. I'm always trying to be the best pet parent possible...making sure that my little boy is healthy and happy....always checking for symptoms of any kind of illness....etc. It's hard not to worry about something that you love. When we got Buddy, my stomach was in knots everytime we had to leave him alone....wondering if he was ok. I think now, after almost 2 I've learned to just roll with the punches and enjoy the company of this little furball of unconditional love, and not worry so much. It's hard sometimes...but there are a lot of people on here that will always provide support and information, and that is truly a comfort. Hope your baby gets better soon...best wishes and good luck!
