That is exactly what I found with Crystal, she needed room to do her little spin around. I tried the tray idea but I like Nancy had my yorkie sleeping in it
sooooo I got a flannel backed plastic table cloth and cut it in about 6 to 8 large pieces and it worked fine. Of course I had to confine her a while and praise her for doing it right but it didn't take long. Also if you rub her own urine on it before you put it down a few times it helps alot. Good Luck.
